We measure our impact in more than dollars raised. We see it in families rebuilding after disaster, agencies better equipped to serve, programs that help bring vulnerable residents home safely, and lasting support for the families of fallen heroes.

Four examples of how First Responders of the Triad and its partners have responded to real needs.
Disaster relief
After Hurricane Helene ripped through Western North Carolina, First Responders of the Triad was honored to partner with the Western North Carolina Firefighters Association to help 75 families pay their insurance deductibles as they began rebuilding their homes and lives.
National partnership
Through direct support from First Responders of the Triad and matching gifts from our sponsors, we have contributed more than $120,000 to Tunnel to Towers—an organization known for honoring fallen heroes and caring for Gold Star and first responder families.
Public safety
First Responders of the Triad donated $18,000 from its 2022 Pro-Am Golf Tournament to help the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office purchase a trained Belgian Malinois for its K9 Unit.
Community response
When a loved one with autism, dementia, or another cognitive condition wanders, every minute feels like a lifetime. First Responders of the Triad contributed $5,000 to Rockingham County’s Project Lifesaver, helping deputies locate vulnerable residents more quickly and bring them safely back home to their loved ones.
